For owner-led service businesses

Make your marketing work together.

Enquiries come in through ads, your website, bookings and the phone. Then they land in different tools, and you end up holding it all together.

The Marketing & Systems Assessment shows you where things disconnect and what to fix first.

Four ways in. Four places to land. You hold it all together.

Sound familiar?

Your marketing isn't the only thing that needs to work.

Tap the ones that happen in your business.

None of this means your marketing is bad. It usually means the pieces were added one at a time and never connected.

The assessment

The Marketing & Systems Assessment

Before you add another tool, campaign or contractor, find out how the ones you have work together. I trace a real customer journey through your business, check every handoff, and tell you what to fix, what to keep, and what can wait.

  1. A short intake form and a 45-minute discovery session.
  2. A review of how your lead generation, enquiry handling, follow-up, content and repetitive tasks fit together.
  3. A closer look at your main customer journey, across up to five core tools.
  4. Your findings, delivered with a recorded walkthrough and a 30-minute review session.

I survey the whole setup, then dig into the biggest bottleneck. It's a focused assessment, not an exhaustive audit of every channel. Sometimes the right call is to keep what's working, or to gather better evidence before changing anything. If that's the answer, I'll tell you.

Client work

Connecting the pieces: recent client work

Paid ads, booking, e-commerce and a CRM that couldn't see each other

Google Ads+Facebook ads+E-commerce site+Booking platform/CRM

The problem
A client ran Google and Facebook ads alongside an e-commerce site and a separate booking platform. Those platforms sat in front of the CRM, so the team couldn't tell paid leads from other enquiries.
What I did
Set up separate tracking numbers for Google and Facebook, built source-tagged landing pages and forms, and used automation to pass source information into the CRM.
The result
The team can now see which enquiries came through those designated Google and Facebook routes.

Connecting payment information into the CRM is the next phase.

Email and website problems ahead of Black Friday

SPF+DKIM+DMARC+Pop-up plugin

The problem
An e-commerce client preparing a Black Friday campaign had email delivery problems and website pop-ups that weren't displaying.
What I did
Set up and corrected their email authentication (SPF, DKIM and DMARC), adjusted the email content, coached the team on a gradual sending approach, and fixed the plugin setup that was breaking the pop-ups.

After the assessment

Can you help me fix what you find?

Yes, if you want me to. These are the four most common next steps. The assessment tells you which one, if any, makes sense. You don't need to choose now.

Lead Tracking & CRM Setup

Sounds familiar if you've saidWe're paying for marketing, but we don't know where enquiries come from or what happens to them.

See where enquiries come from and who follows up. I connect up to three agreed enquiry routes to one CRM and pipeline, with source capture, lead assignment, notifications and a practical report.

$2,000starter scope, 15 business days

Customer Follow-Up & Retention

Sounds familiar if you've saidWe get busy, follow-up slips, and we barely contact customers again after the job.

Keep enquiries and past customers from going quiet. Three agreed follow-up journeys, such as enquiry follow-up, post-service check-ins and seasonal reminders, with the copy, timing, and clear points for a person to step in.

$2,000starter scope, 15 business days

AI & Workflow Implementation

Sounds familiar if you've saidSomeone on our team keeps spending time on the same task every week.

Take one recurring task off your team's manual workload. I simplify the process, automate the suitable steps across up to three tools, and keep a person in the loop where judgment matters.

$2,500starter scope, 20 business days

Human-Led Content Systems

Sounds familiar if you've saidI have things worth sharing, but turning them into content keeps slipping.

Turn your recorded expertise into a repeatable newsletter and post workflow. You record, AI helps draft, and you approve. Built and tested with your own material.

$2,000starter scope, 15 business days

Fixed scope. 85% to start, 15% once the agreed completion tests pass. 14 days to correct any defects in the delivered work. Software and specialist costs are listed separately. Larger integrations or migrations are scoped on their own.

The right mix of skills for the problem.

About

Who you'll work with

I'm Chris Latham, a Vancouver-based marketer. Most specialists look at one tool. I follow the problem across your marketing, website, email, CRM and internal workflows, then build the connections and teach your team how to use them.

I'll also look for features you already pay for before suggesting anything new.

Your expertise and customer relationships stay at the centre. Practical systems and AI handle more of the work around them.

Is this right for you?

Is this a fit?

A good fit if you

  • Run an established service business with customers and active marketing
  • Get enquiries, bookings or quote requests before people buy
  • Use several tools, but information still gets moved by hand
  • Are still the one chasing leads, checking reports or keeping things moving
  • Are ready to act on what the assessment finds

Probably not a fit if you

  • Are just starting out and don't have customers yet
  • Only want someone to run ads or post on social media
  • Want a guaranteed revenue number before anything is measured

Common questions

Before you book.

Do I have to hire you after the assessment?

No. You keep the findings and can act on them however you like.

What if you don't find anything worth fixing?

Then you'll know that, with evidence. Keeping a system that works is a valid recommendation. If the assessment doesn't give you a clear, evidence-backed explanation and next steps, I'll revise it once, then refund you if it still falls short.

What do you need from me?

The intake form, a 45-minute call, and access to the tools involved in your main customer journey. The 7 business days start once that access is in place.

Which tools do you work with?

The assessment covers whatever you use now, up to five core tools in the main journey. Whether a specific CRM suits the implementation work is something the assessment confirms.

What currency are the prices in?

Your billing currency is confirmed before you pay.

Is this a full audit of everything?

No. It surveys your whole setup, then goes deep on the main bottleneck. That keeps it fast and useful.
